When will they acknowledge that the gameplay is just horrendous?

I like the Combat, i really like it i mean play ESO you will see its exactly the same, play WoW even with "Build Customization" you will see it will be the same, you press your Skills in order or when they are up there is literally no difference then any other MMO the only difference is that FFXIV has a Slower GCD then other games and that is exactly the reason why i like it

What combat? As the next person said, you can watch a movie or netflix show while winning a 'battle' in this game and the harder content is only harder cause it's all about knowing where to stand next and when.

The game is build around the slower GCD, but you will only learn to play with it when you do difficult content like savage, but it does feel really slow at the beginning to mid-game

Attack boss > run out of an AOE while you are on GCD > engage again without losing uptime.

The Long Global CD allows you to move around and dodge mechanics.

i know thats why i said i like it, i really like the slower gcd speed in ffxiv and i played more then 10 years wow so i can see and feel the differences and i really pref final combat over wow
