I'd say even a light party or something in between is also interesting for optional floors. You can't just wing it, but it's definitely not as hardcore than going in solo. I like that you can adjust the difficulty by going solo, duo, trio or LP. I like that the latter floors will challenge even a LP if they're not careful, and this imo is pretty good midcore content and I wish we had more of it. Orthos though, is also showing how their design choices have been slowly creeping in even in DDs, because let's be honest here, it's all about DDR and oneshots, especially bosses. Those have no place in DDs.
