If you're that desperate for people to play Lost Ark with you, why not skip the console war bullcrap and simply ask?

People keep bringing other games constantly, it's always "But WoW does it worse !", "but X game does it worse !!"

Funnily enough, now that someone uses that argument agaisnt FFXIV, now it's bad and they're desperate for people to play with ?

Lost Ark, a relatively new game, already chased away 99% of it's playerbase. People do cartwheels in celebration here when XIV loses 5K during lulls. They ARE desparate - LOL!

I didnt know over 600k players was close to 5k, but I am glad to learn something new every day.

Also lol @ doing cartwheels, people can make fun of it, and if anything they probably should, because the game is heading that way (down,down and more down), because of its own community and the constant toxic positivity. I always said it, the community itself will be this game's downfall.

The forums might be outlier because it allows -some- negativity in regards to the game (despite the usual people always defending it), but every other platform is pretty much an echo chamber of toxic positivity towards the game, and if you dare have a negative opinion, you get trashed to the ground and called a hater amongst other nice terms.

Oh please they lie in wait to complain here about anything and everything. Then they make weird comments like "Why are people who like the game around for new announcements?" as though only complaining is permissible.

As they should (allow some criticism). Echo chambers don't help a game improve - especially ones like XIV that could use improvement these days. DT was a decrease in quality IMO and we should be upset about that. Pretending it's all roses and perfect doesn't help the game have long term success. I just feel that some here go a bit too far in how much they want the game to fail rather than improve.

I also find echo chambers boring. Having so many I disagree with here keeps things interesting. If no one at all on these forums liked the game enough to defend it, I have a feeling some posters would also leave as the forums would be boring in the other direction.
