Wow, Wuk Lamat is really single-handedly ruining the DT story...

Wuk Lamat is not the issue poor writing and game design is the issue xD

All we wanted in DT was to have a vacation and a tournament arc what we got was a lot of talk to these npcs, fixing half brain social issues for half brain people, with half brain solutions, (food fixes racism who knew) and it just happened that the main npc we talked to was Wuk Lamat xD

If Y'shtola was the main Npc we talked with the writing quality we got In DT she would have just as much hate as Wuk Lamat just being honest with you.

What Dt needed was more action sequences why didn't we fight Thancred and Uri?

Why didn't we storm the meso terminal at the start of Z6?
Have a solo instance where we go in and see the boss for the dungeon but he is unbeatable and we get ejected so we have to go through Z6 and fight and deal with the citizens.

furthermore MSQ could do with more trials and dungeons msq has 6 dungeons and 3 trials why not make it 9 dungeons and 2 trials? or 5 dungeons and 6 trials? why are the devs boxing themselves in like this? xD

This so much... i get it, doing 10 dungeons for 10 levels is too much, but having a 1-2 more would still be nice, you could change how gear is spread out. And having more trials would be nice as well - especially in this "tournament ark" setting... solo trials are nice, but they are once and done...

The biggest insult to me was Voicing every single battle of the Arkadium but not its cutscenes... like... you got VA there for every Char... you literally casted new ppl... why...

Wuk was indeed terrible after playing more. I couldn't finish it due to the annoying voice, the over the top cuteness, and the stupidity of the early deeds like making tacos and sh1t. There are WAY TOO MANY cutscenes as well. The world feels completely dead when you need three items of something, kill three mobs, and then head right back to town knowing you'll instantly get them.

The gathering nodes are a joke now as well. The same place all the time. That should encourage exploration, but then again, the world is so small now that you bump the invisible wall all the time which breaks immersion.

They have really decimated the game with this expansion. It's like a Disney mmo now.

Which is why I mentioned "now as well." Trivial things like that are overlooked when at least the story is entertaining enough. Now, even that is gone. It just feels like the devs are lazy now. Between DT tanking and SE milking the hell out of anything FF7, they just don't seem to have any new direction to take the franchise and it's showing more and more.

I don't see why gathering nodes need an overhaul. It's the same old hitting rocks and plants for rocks and plants. I've never met anybody who gathers for the "fun" of it.

This is 100% true. Wuk Lamat wasn't done well, but there were very few characters who were. The biggest thing Wuk Lamat is guilty of is taking too much spotlight from Krile and her story--especially with how relevant it was to Alexandria.

But it's true that no matter who the lead was, the pacing, poor dialog, and plot contrivances would most likely have been there. The outrage might have been *worse* if we had flanderized Y'shtola as the main.

Pretty much everything, is good, I don't need to go into details, maybe you don't like it, but most of all you are either stubborn, a troll, or simply rushed to 100 skipping every little bit of the game, my take is that is not exactly American or close to British English that is your problem... which I am happy for that they went in directions of giving her and others a heavy accent, which has been seriously needed.


Stop claiming that you actually took part in the story, because it is clear, that you did not.

Also you must be an elderly person, who is extreme conservative, it shows, I am in my 40s as well, and I like the approach and different ways we get, I like and love change.
And if not Elderly, extreme conservative youth, that need to open the eyes to the world, be it isolated too much in own country or not, there is a whole new world out there for you to explore.
