Can we get an official FFXIV account on Bluesky

I don't think it's particularly controversial, I just don't think it's likely given SE's track record. They didn't move contests to Twitter until what? 2018? They're very late adopters when it comes to social media and whatnot.

I can't see them moving to Bluesky unless it looks like it has a good chance to overtake Twitter as the primary platform for people to yell at clouds on the internet.

SE will definitely stay on Twitter - that isn't the issue. My guess is that, like other studios, they will have a more active FFXIV account on Bluesky by the end of the year. I could be wrong given the glacial pace with which they respond to customer requests.

Facebook is primarily used by boomers and IG/TikTok are more content oriented though. Twitter is definitely the primary platform for people to just post short messages into the void.

Fr, there's no reason for them not to honestly. It takes 0 effort on their part to create a cross-posting bot like they did for the main Square Enix account.

I left Twitter years ago because I hated the drama-focused infinite scrolling algorithm, but I don't mind going on BSKY sometimes 'cause it's easy to curate. It frustrates me a lot when SE do giveaways and competitions and stuff on Twitter only too, I'd like to see them come to other platforms as well

And yes X is a platform that will stay, I promise you, Elon doesnt care if you use the platform or not. Nor does SE or people participating actually, if anything it's less people in the sweepstakes and more chances to win for them, so you're doing god's work, go you!
