That still makes you a multiowner, why would you be able to have houses cross DC ? You want to avoid multiowning, either you go all the way or you dont, you cant do it half way only.
So as I said before, if you want to do what you said you want to do, I hope you're ready yourself to relinquish one of your two larges. Dont be hypocritical and use the "It's a different DC" excuse, you are still multiowning.
And? I never said to only own one plot per acount, that's you putting words in my mouth, just stop. One thing is to own one FC and one personal plot but another is 9 plots in a world when they are sitting there empty and undecorated. I would even consider demolishing my FC plots if they allowed me to have rooms for my alts and also the FC workshop in my personal home, therefore, I would reduce my number of plots to just two total in separate data centers.

So you're okay with multiowning as long as it benefits you, noted. And? I never said to only own one plot per acount, that's you putting words in my mouth, just stop. Glad we got to a conclusion.

I, too, would prefer that they simply make it so everyone has a house. But they clearly have NO intention of doing that, so I don't think it's unreasonable to ask that they NOT demolish our houses if we decide to (as Yoshi P said) go play other games for a while and come back later. So it really is just about the story, huh. Naturally whatever feelings you have on the matter is valid, but still doesn't have much to do with the housing situation. Things that could improve the housing situation is adding more wards to worlds with high populations, enacting a tax, or moving to an instanced system, not just being hoarded by people who don't want to play. I'd want housing to be more available to everyone, including yourself and others, not just some selfish desire to be able to stop playing the game yet hold onto a limited item.
And I also reject this continued notion of yours that I and others are being "selfish" for wanting to unsub for just a little while, wait for the next expansion, and come back to find our houses still waiting for us.
I find it infinitely more selfish (and scummy) for Square to maintain a system that intentionally makes housing scarce and takes advantage of that scarcity to manipulate their most loyal players into continuing to pay their sub. All the while spitting in those very player's faces by churning out an absolutely trash tier expansion.
