My biggest concern is, if you buy it for one character on same account you have to buy it for all on same account to get it, if you got alts... that is even worse.

If the items would cost like 1 dollar I would be fine with it though, but 5 is too much considering you need to pay for a monthly subscription as well

WHM/BLM ARR artifact armor still doesn't have those second dye channels, but they've been hard at work adding second dye channels (and in some cases, firstdye channels too to previously undyeable items) to Cash Shop sets.

Cash shop is at the expense of in-game items.

This has less to do with the cash shop, and more with the way SE decided to handle the implementation of the second dye channel. Basically any colorset row that's already in use by the first dye channel, is never considered as an option for the second dye channel. Using the WHM AF robe as example, the only possible colorset rows for a second dye channel are: the belt, a single ribbon, the few remaining metal parts, or the part of the hood that isn't already affected by the first dye channel.

But I guess it's easier to yell CASH SHOP and ignore all the lvl 1 non-cash shop glamour items that have also received second dye channels.
