We used to not have the slow dripping queue before ShB or EW I don't remember. They introduced it at some point because accepting too many people at once made their servers unstable or something. Says a lot about the infrastructure...

They can roll it back now because most people since then have stopped playing already

In other games, I would use private messages while in a random dungeon group to gently give another player some advice, without the possible risk of embarrassing them in front of the rest of the group. It could find a similar use here.

Why can't I accept party invites while on the marketboard, updating my retainers, talking to an NPC, etc?

small indie dev btw![]()
And then it took until DT for /bgm to work in cutscenes
the whispering is defo possible since they can just totally turn that shit off completely in CCAnd we still cannot whisper people who are in a duty, properly cross-server let alone DC.
We still have to travel DC in a very awkward way through main menu.
We still cannot place a glam dresser in our houses.
We still have a fake que everytime we login.
And more. Can Sqenix take us to 2025 finally? We always hear the same excuse about engine limitations or spaghetti code but it is really no excuse. WoW has used the same engine since 2004 and upgraded it overtime when needed, it has cross-faction and cross-realm que, whispers and everything. Heck, u can even transmog where ever u want whenever u want.
I wonder where does all the sub money go? Some races still don't have hats and we are on an extremely long patch cycle with dripfed content.
You could also use private messages while in a random dungeon group to provide destructive feedback to another player, without the possible risk of getting called out by anyone else in the group. Followed by "I have no idea why player X just left the instance".
The potential for abuse is as great as the potential for good, and more tempting to frustrated players.
In a way, they already do. A Paladin, for example, can wear (not transmogrify) a Big Blue Dress.
WoW has had transmogrification for nearly 15 years and still won't let you transmogrify plate mail to look like cloth armor. Why would they start now?
