What happened to the community

The game lately caters mostly to raiders, so naturally you see more toxicity now, further made worse by the fact everything in this game is based on dps. There is also the fact people are just... done. Done with the game, yet sticking around, done with the developers 'were listening but busy, ask again 10 years later, done with the immense content draughts that SOMEHOW get passed 95% of the community.

I also wonder, since WoW is known as a game where mods are needed to raid how people in this game feel about the necessity of mods to raid. I still remember a 'certain youtuber' saying that 'noclippy is ESSENTIAL' and I am just curious how many raiders actually run mods these days(not just a dps meter but stuff like rotation solver and other aids in either mechanics or rotations or the camera one).

When I joined this game I, like everyone else was promised that this community was not like other games and way more positives. I would say up until my first ex attempts, this was true. Personally the biggest spike in toxicity I have seen has been the end of Endwalker and the entirety of DT,(especially Cloud) and I don't just mean ingame. On youtube, reddit, forums and also ingame it has gotten a lot worse.

I am also sick and tired of reporting in this game doing absolutely nothing. I have a bigger chance for a report to do something in League ffs XD

All in all I would say that everything the WoW community is known for(toxicity, exclusion, witch-hunting) I saw more in this game in 3 years of playing with around 15 years of activity in WoW.

And I am very happy people are waking up to the developers sleeping on the game being the 2nd most popular mmo on the market aswell. They have put so little in and it's REALLY starting to show, like the graphics update only applying to 5% of the game after so long.
