That's not true exactly. I play solo a lot of the time but have cross world linkshell for folks who like to party up in Frontlines casually. Also you can turn sound off already with /soundeffects. Why turn off waymarks? Sometimes you need a way to tell people where they need to go when no one wants to click on the <pos>?

Premades use macros to put a waymark on their position every second and ping in chat "follow the A".

Disabling my personal sound effects does not disable everyone's sound effects. These are mechanisms premades use to bulldoze. Even if they could not queue up in a premade party, players would use these mechanisms to still effectively function as a premade.

I honestly look forward to being in these alliances as well as fighting against them. They wake me up from my usual tactics of knowing were to route the enemies and cut them off. I'll agree that putting markers on teamates is a little annoying as it can get in my field of vision but it's not deal breaking for me. How often do you run into the premades? Surely you should be landing on their side 33% of the time?

If you're suggesting that means I win 33% of the time because I land with a premade and that I should be satisfied, I'm sorry to say that's not the case. Playing alongside a premade saps all the fun out of FL. It's the real "turn off your brain, do what you're told" game mode out of all pvp. No skill needed, no thinking, just follow instructions.

Edit: sorry, you asked how often I run into premades. I would say once or twice a week, most often on Shatter but also regularly on the nadaam.

29% if there is exactly one premade on the field.
