    Most times you discuss things in order to reach a consensus. If somebody says something that is collectively agreed upon then the discussion was successful.
    Rather than just assume my perspective correct I framed it for discussion as forums are meant to do. If I said anything disagreeable or others have you can join in that discussion to progress it further.

    Subjective or objective logic is equally good in this case as it builds towards a consensus to make it a clear uniform definition. Was what I said agreeable? Disagreeable. Who knows let's work together to find out.
