You're the one groveling for change where it's not happening. This is a system of the game which has gone on just fine, long before you came hereYou are the minority group. If you're leveling to 50 with other players, you should have your job stone equipped.
We shouldn't allow people to queue content without their job stone because some minority group wants to level alts for some reason that has nothing to do with game content.
Taking away options is not the answer
Making the job stone mandatory is not the magic bullet you imagine it to be
The issue is handled by education and the community, as it has been now, and can be improved on in that manner rather than restricting gameplay
If you missed your job stone because you weren't aware of it despite everyone else around you being a different job, someone will tell you
If were aware and don't want it, that is your choice. It is not always done maliciously
What's next? Making a mandatory stone-sky-sea before you can queue dungeons because the level 30 bard who spams single-target in triple pulls is doing less damage than the archer with Quick Nock?
Or are you satisfied now because you see a different icon next to their name?

Oh woe is me what is the community going to ask for next, basic understanding of a job? But how then will people like me throwing shit at a wall to reach level 50 on my 7th housing alt do?Making the job stone mandatory is not the magic bullet you imagine it to be

As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
Yes precisely. Stop removing systems and educate instead
Begging SE to remove systems from the game, babysit people harder and dumb it down even more instead of build upon is an atrocity
Instead, do something positive like add and improve upon what we have. Add a tutorial menu pop up at 30, let there be a 5 or 10% exp earring anyone can have that goes up until level 50 that everyone would love to have
Make it better. Don't remove it
So you want people, to tell people like yourself to do better (when you seem to be refusing to do so) instead of the game forcing you do so? Sorry, but at some point you don't get to expect people to hold your hand and tell you "you're doing fine sweetie" when you refuse to have any sort of desire to do better yourself. It's one thing when you have trouble, and thank people for their patience, but when you don't care a bit about it and continue to do it because it's allowed? No, you shouldn't expect people's understanding and for them to hold your hand like you don't know any better. What you're getting is push back because people are telling you your behavior is deplorable.Yes precisely. Stop removing systems and educate instead

That's not what I said. The point people are bringing up is that the job stone should be mandatory so people don't miss it and inadvertently nerf themselvesSo you want people, to tell people like yourself to do better (when you seem to be refusing to do so) instead of the game forcing you do so? My response to that is to improve the system so that it isn't missed
Those that know and have reason to avoid it can continue to do so. And if not, then make it even better and make it worthwhile

(Also ignore the fact that if you got me doing this in a roulette telling me to do better would fall on deaf ears because I’m intentionally griefing to speedrun housing alts)
Stellar Logic you got there

I have already explained my play case and you have glossed over it in order to spew this made-up argument. You literally posted nothing.
"Stellar Logic" yourself
I was once running level 90 raids with my FC using Duty Finder, and during one run we got a sprout Bard. Without fail, they would use LB1 every time it was available. After the second time we told them 'hey, it's better to save LB to level 3 in raids, because it does exponentially more damage at higher levels and healers can use LB3 to rez everybody in case of emergencies'
They responded by saying 'but I can usually use LB1 four times in a raid, wouldn't that be better?' We explained that a single LB3 does more damage than three LB1s, and they responded by never speaking in chat again... and continuing to waste LB1s.
Some people don't take advice. The rest of us shouldn't be dragged down by them.
LBs are a different story, but making it so you can't use the Duty Finder to queue into 50+ content without job stones seems like a very fair solution.
You want to do stupid class only runs? Good for you, queue by yourself, with friends, or use PF.
You're entirely ignorant of job quests? Hard sell, considering you haven't missed the 'Current Main Scenario Quest' hud element up to this point, and it very nicely shows your job quests literally on top of it.
