Then we can watch y'all forget about this set because its no longer relevant and watch y'all complain about not being able to earn the newer gear for glams because your refusal to engage with the content that rewards it?

Do you honestly believe it's a refusal?
If I was really good at something, I think I might be pleased about that. Instead there's this bizarre narrative that everyone can do high-end content, and the only reason some of us don't is because we're lazy.
Simply not true.
In fact hardcore players seem to acknowledge that "causal" (whatever that means) players have a skill deficiency when it's time to hurl insults at us. Then there's this weird switch back to "just do the content."
Pathetic.
Then do it next expansion when you can out-level, out-gear and unsync the content if you want the rewards from it.Do you honestly believe it's a refusal?

What's the problem?
I don't give a rat's synonym-for-a-donkey about rewards, I'm just really tired of this narrative that anybody can do all of the content on-cycle in 14, particularly when it's used to argue that that there's plenty of content for casual players since we can raid too, but that we choose not to do it.
Just for you then.I don't give a rat's synonym-for-a-donkey about rewards, I'm just really tired of this narrative that anybody can do all of the content on-cycle in 14, particularly when it's used to argue that that there's plenty of content for casual players since we can raid too, but that we choose not to do it.
Ngl, while being utterly confused as to why the thread was even made, I will say that I'll still agree wholeheartedly to the notion that there isn't much content that pleases the 'casual crowds' for the past few patches (if you even want to call what used to be a singular major patch as a 'multiple patches' thanks to their odd decision to drip feed us the contents...'). As neither casual nor hardcore of the players, I'm personally iffy that they seem to be trying to 'push' more folks into one spectrum too much. Is this one of their way to bump up their ever so precious engagement metric...? Who knows...
What was the last content the casual crowds get anyway...? Isle Sanctuary? lol.
Right, another element that tends to get overlooked in these discussions is the quality of the content, as well as the fact that stuff like IS is released, then completely ignored by the devs. A trend that goes back to at least GC squadrons.Ngl, while being utterly confused as to why the thread was even made, I will say that I'll still agree wholeheartedly to the notion that there isn't much content that pleases the 'casual crowds' for the past few patches (if you even want to call what used to be a singular major patch as a 'multiple patches' thanks to their odd decision to drip feed us the contents...'). I can't remember less engaging society quests than the PelePelu. "Ride this mount for ten seconds, then press a button." Gripping. And the dialog suggests the whole thing was mailed in.
The story itself? Hildy? Simply poor.
