So...gonna re-release previous PvP series rewards for crystals or NOT?

Have no idea what has been up in this thread.

But seeing it resurface and seeing how things are going on in this game and others just makes me feel like it no longer matters as much what the other side of the conversation even believes at this point.

More so with the addition of "Glamour Outfits".

Players won't even see the names of said items, or even care.

If we look at Garo, Some would feel like it was a similar deal until it returned.

After many months, no one even cares after the fact.

It's literally just code and data that has become cyclical and ever so useless in conversation.

In other games that I played, where there have been time limited things, or Rankings.

It just never feels valuable ever to keep these things restrained and locked.

And perpetuating these draining conversations is the idea that we need to create bloat just for a few useless changes to name.

[It just feeds the ever increasing mountains of/and precariously stacked numbers, code, types, armors, locks, that SE needs to sort for other systems.

The time for discussion will slowly come to an end, just like for other IPs, the change from one title to another approaches.

The less complicated it returns, the less issues SE will have to deal with implementing and updating the Quality and Textures of old items.

[It really just is tiring thinking of my alts and the PvP Malmstones. I'd turn it off for my alts if I could. and honestly with alot of things in this game. it should of unlocked AccWide. with the option to withhold for a alt if desired.]

And to make it even more "Special" as ridiculous as it becomes the longer it takes for them to reintroduce EVERYTHING.
you can have the latest and shiniest take longer to reach for newer players as they slog through the old rewards.

Not only have they still not re-added old rewards, or added anything of substance at all... they've made participating in ranked even more stupid... You can't check retainers or chat with FC cause you're expected to DC travel for ranked. If they plan on fixing that, why in the ever living heck implement this change to ranked BEFORE fixing that???

Hunh. I completely forgot about this. Since I've been forced to restart on a new account because of the payment processor debacle taking away access to my previous wrong region locked account. I have all the time in the world to wait as I casually (for the 4th time) play through the main story and such.

Hopefully, we'll hear something come the new year between January and February. And if not? Then hopefully May-June.

Its kind of crazy to consider too as the promise for old Series rewards to return was announced before the Series Pass system was implemented, mere moments after they even revealed the existence of the system. So its not like this is something that was promised after the fact, but rather billed as a key feature of the Series Pass system and stated to be their solution to eliminating PvP FOMO. Yet its still missing in action a full expansion later. Heck, the slide even has "reward token" as the name of the trophy crystals currency as they had literally not finalized a name for them as of the time Endwalker's launch PLL aired.

If you don't see any rewards for you and that the content isn't for you either, then don't participate as you say if you don't like it.

It's frankly stunning to read that kind of takes when on the other hand in FL threads you have people complaining about "casual bots" just being there for the xp rewards and polluting a mode they don't even like doing or put effort into. I'm not sure ranked CC would benefit that much from a flood of uninterested players that are just there for the rewards either. As for those that would tryhard more if we take into account top ranking rewards, then it would just introduce more toxicity than there currently is.

Well maybe if some of this crap was TRADEABLE so we had a reason to do it after getting everything and people who don't like it can PAY ME for it, it might be different. How much gil do you think you could make selling sets of late allagan gear? I bet quite a lot judging from how much diadem gear goes for.

Also that other guy was totally wrong about the weapons being ugly. The tropaios gunblade is one of the coolest gunblades in the game, and most of the hellhound stuff is great too.

The big advantage is that people only doing PvP for those rewards wouldn't feel the need to.

There's Rewards for partaking in content, and there's rewards for being forced to partake content.

And then there's Rewards for being forced to take part in the content in a limited time window where only a few people will actually get a chance at obtaining it. Most of which are alts, WinTraders, and minority of actually determined players who earned it.

Nothing wrong with the Rewards being only obtainable from Trophy Crystals and Wolfmarks.

It's just an extra bonus for partaking in PVP.

As with all Content and Gamemodes, The Main Priority of it, is to be fun, or enticing enough for those who like winning against other players. (Which for the more extreme of those players, the title and Seasonal Numbers is the Memory that counts. <though personally, I would change the seasonal number to how many times you've reached a tier, rather than the season you won. That way those with a Higher Tier Number would be more impressive than just a clone copy for having reached a tier during a time of play.> XIV Platinum/Diamond/Crystal Tiers is much more impressive that simply reaching that tier during Season XIV)

But back to Rewards, I see no reason for it to be tradeable or sellable.

All it does is incentivize those see the game as a marketboard minigame, It isn't.

Just like Certain new content will have issues when it dries out.

The focus should be on the content and the enjoyment. and The Rewards should match the content as well.

Feast/T100 is better off dead in the past.
