at what point does it end, though?
The chaotic alliance raid drops entirely new armor sets. Does that not fall under customization?
I don't see what other rewards they can use to entice players into doing this sort of content. If the fight offered nothing whatsoever, what would be the point to run it anymore than one time just to say you tried it and/or completed it
of course that's an extreme example, and people could mention minions/mounts/etc. but you could argue that also falls under customization but I know what you're getting at
I do wonder if at some point this will be something you can unsync, and if that question has been answered anywhere because if it can then at least at some point it'll be something people will grind, like Memoria Misera EX (especially because you can Duo it)
i am gona be real i dont see people who are sprouts running around demanding ultimate weapons because they respect that those weapons are for hardcore raiders. but why hardcore raiders should be the ones who get access to character customization like hairstyles or makeup is not going to go well with the player who cares the most about it, the casual limsa go-er the reason ppl are mad about the mount and hairstyle is because its the kind of thing targeted directly at them yet its not even for them because they dont have a group that can facilitate them climbing the ladder of progression
What content then is “allowed” to be used to incentivise hardcore content
Because we had this same song and dance with the P12S mount

As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
