

That exactly. I keep seeing people saying relics are casual content because it's easy. If you think casual players will farm several times for 30 hours per relic weapon, you don't know what being a casual means. There sure overlap, a casual player might do the relic quest once for the story. But farming several of them? Just no. But it's easy thus it's casual.
To be honest, people already do exactly this, so everything in this thread is par the course.
They know, and it isn't a case of they don't want to. It's a case of... A decade worth of development has still not taught them that casual and high-end content can be developed and released in tandem. Instead we deal with this constant yoyoing where more longer lasting content that casuals typically dabble in, e.g., relics/exploratory, are always backloaded to the start of the expansion, whilst everything for high-end is front loaded. So what you see is 1 group eating breadcrumbs for around 12 months, and then in the latter 12 months of the expansion from .4 > x.0, those that preference high-end content then also end up eating those breadcrumbs.
