    Since you get debuffed with Heavy when the hand spawns on you, it leaves very little room for error in moving the correct way to dodge.

    From my time doing it I found that slow walking backwards works fine in dodging the back hand, didn't seem like the Heavy debuff made me walk any slower.

    But you know which way to dodge long before the hand spawns, so it's not like you need to figure anything out when it happens. You just move right as the 1 (the die) disappears and you'll never get doom that way.

    It's just easier to be already moving in the direction you need to be before the timer reaches 0 imo. Having to move just as the timer reaches 0 just seems like it would be more difficult for higher ping players, just as the OP says aswell.
