I've had this problem for the longest time on certain games, with FF14 and Devour being the main culprits, where as something like Elden Ring ran just fine.

Apparently depending on your Power Unit, it might be set up to kill power to your video card if it detects it drawing too much, and some RTX 30 series are known for having sudden power spikes. Undervolting it with Afterburner fixed the problem for me.

also if i dont delete the ff14.cfg file in documents the game can crash after the title screen, doesnt even let me login my character into the world, its almost like its a crash timer from launch.

OK, the log looks good. No strange voltage fluctuations and no overheating. So i guess, the graphics card has a defect. You should RMA it.

my PSU is 750w, i believe my PC has enough power to run everything including the RTX 3060.

Sometimes components are just faulty from the start.

For example, each CPU that gets made has a different quality because it's challenging to get the nano-sized spikes right, and I think some of them get discarded due to it. Because of that a CPU can just end up not working well long-term.

Sometimes a PSU dies extraordinarily quickly - like the one I got from the most reputable company in this space (Seasonic) which died in under a month, when I got it specifically with the hope it would last over 10 years. The good news with them is they have a 10-year warranty.

While it could be a GPU issue, I tend to think it's unlikely a GPU issue if not seeing tears, dots, picture blending, random (and unprompted) GPU usage or the screen going black while the PC is still running. Especially when the test didn't show an issue, and even more so when you had it with your previous GPU.

However, it's hard to think of what the problem could be when you replaced your RAM and GPU and OS already. The only other major components really are your Motherboard and your CPU.

If the motherboard is changed the new one may require a different CPU and RAM type.

Sometimes it just happens. Maybe the package with the graphics card was thrown into the delivery truck and got damaged. Just RMA it.

ok so my other GPU RTX 3050 crashes sometimes with the same error code, but its playable and i used it since DT started, so theres still something else going on, it may not be my RTX 3060 GPU, since i always had a crashing problem.
im gonna test my RTX 3050, and if the game always crashes still then theres something else wrong.

Don't listen to those telling you return it; They clearly aren't putting any thought into your situation. Is your System Configuration > Graphics Settings > UI Resolution Settings set to Standard (HD/Full HD)? I've known numerous players who tried switching it to High (WQHD/4K) only to have it crash their game constantly.

    Maybe it's your PSU?
