Been asking this for years but it's crazy. The company is going under and there's so many things we've been asking for like. More boss or npc glam on mog. More hairstyles, more glam and even a kh or ff7 crossover. Like why are they not doing these things. If gaias outfit was 4 piece and ungendered it would have completely flown off the shelves just for those boots. I really want yunas and lightnings outfits unlocked.

And why isn't there more ff costumes on the mogstore? I want sephiroths coat.. yunas gunner attire. I want kingdom hearts org 13 member weapons for 14. Like there are ppl out there meeting this demand and even getting paid for it... so what's going on at se for real. There's such a literal goldmine of options for this game but is it genuinely more profitable to just release scraps every half a year instead.

As a player, the biggest anger rn is knowing how easily they can save themselves from all this but just wont

I think it was at dev panels or one of the blogs that they mentioned NPC glam is difficult sometimes, because it's designed specifically for the NPC and sometimes when they put it on the mog station it's after extensive adjustment to make it work for player models.

As for there being more costumes, most likely the people who work on that are interested in your suggestion since they seem to make stuff they think will make money, like they did with Cloud's bike for example.

As far as hairstyles and glam go, they do make these and also said they are making more rewards in Dawntrail.

They said they don't want to do a FF7 crossover until FF7R is done so that they don't interrupt the great work they are doing over there.

As far as SE not wanting money goes, it's pretty true that they don't chase it too much (due to the whole "play other games" thing). But that can be a good thing to an extent, because chasing it too much leads to people resenting a company.

square as a company have a good relationship with disney and disney as a company want as much money as they can get. people always claim disney wont OK this, but the reality is disney would okay and not only that but disney doesn't own sora, riku and kairi. they only own there own characters and a joint IP of KH. they have no say in what nomura does with his own characters

he does own Sora yes just look at super smash bros howuch it took for them to just get Sora in I don't say I don't want a KH crossover honestly I would be up for it any day haha.

but Disney as much as you might say that have the last say into it even Yoshi P spoke about that crossover in a live letter I think it was durinh Endwalker and why he wouldn't do it because of Disney

if monetization wasnt such a big revenue supply then please explain the success of gatcha games like honkai and genshin. and why every eastern game is littered with in store purchases. please explain the 400$ meagre quality figures, the countless ingame bonuses for SE store items and the never ending supply of merch. if they put a keyblade in the mogstore tonight i guarantee you ud see easily half of limsa in every server with 1.

There aren't enough invested players willing to spend money on microtransactions because the target demographic for FFXIV is people who buy every expansion + 1 month subscription, play only the MSQ and then unsub and uninstall for 3 years.

I'm getting real tired of watching SE continually take the profits from their successful ventures and dump them into doomed bad ideas instead of reinvesting into the successful projects. It's like watching a deadbeat dad with a gambling problem ruin his family's lives.
