    Darksteel ore madness on Durandal

    Can someone please explain to me how in the process of 2 hours (time from server up to E maint.) the price of Darksteel ore went to 5k?

    This isn't a case of 10% under cutting, that is just crazy the item just came out. I bet by this time tomorrow it will be under 2k

    Why do we screw ourselves and everyone else over selling things for pennies, I'm so confused...

    I didn't even look. But how many ores were up for sale? I suspect the law of Supply and Demand.

    Simple supply and demand, also could be people just wanting to get rid of them fast. The price of all things on the wards will eventually change over time.

    Also Scy, keep in mind Rabanastre Server use to OVERPRICE everything compared to other servers while Cornelia tended to UNDERPRICE everything. So, well expect things to be low-end screwy etc.

    Also, I've noticed that after patches the markets get flooded with *cheap* finds. I think some people purposely flood the market right after a patch to make the price history low since it always resets completely after a Patch. After a week or two things usually level back out.

    The problem now is that Darksteel Ore +1 and Gold Ore +1 get buried under people listing 40-50 stacks of normal quality ore.

    The "gold rush" period was madness though. Having like 7-10 people on a node at once when you're usually lucky to see 3-4 people in the entire zone, was pretty crazy.
