I'm actually replaying the 7.0 MSQ right now, and so far I haven't found a single thing that's going to cause me to QUIT the game over it just like the first time I played through it and actually enjoyed it. Wuk Lamat really reminds me of the imaginations I had as a child, and maybe that's why I find her so endearing while others loathe her. Understandably, she is more like a child having lived a very sheltered life. She realizes that she doesn't know her people at all and constantly has to look at other people for advice. But the moment she needs a little push, we are right there behind her. Koana being her co-ruler is definitely going to help her a lot. She needs someone with a cooler head to balance her out as she can't rely on our WoL forever.

Why do you feel to need to lecture us, what her arc is supposed to be?
Do you think we DT-haters are just too stupid to understand the genius of the writing?
Do you seriously think, we don't know what Wokies character arc is supposed to be?

That paragraph you wrote is smth I've read over a hundred times from other dt-defenders, you are just parroting what other people have said, no original thought of your own, only guided by your emotions of childhood nostalgia.

These aren't even close to anything resembling an "argument", these are just a summary of what the writers intention with Garfield were.

If you have to use a magnifyng glas to find the "charactergrowth", after wasting the playtime of ean entire expansion, than these writers utterly failed and need to be flipping burgers for all I care.
(and btw, furry Naruto is only the tip of the iceberg, the rest of the story is equally garbage)

I'm not lecturing you. I'm telling you how I felt because maybe hearing another's opinion might open your mind a bit and find an understanding with others who maybe don't feel the same way you do. Pacing was bad in the first part. "genocide of digitized memories"

My only gripes are that wuk had too much screen time (but people were complaining about the scions, so this is just monkeys paw at work)
Pacing was way off in the beginning. Too much time spent in the early zones compared to later on.

Still don't think it was the worst thing ever, or that it needs to be rewritten.

DT committed the horrendous crime of being "ok". This, of course, ruins the entire game, spits on all the memories and experiences people have had of it, and Yoshi-p personally exhumed my childhood cat, dressed it up as Wuk Lamat, and makes me pay $40 to see it.

Seriously, some of you need to buy some of that FFXIV branded camping gear and touch grass. The only thing DT is guilty of is being being a hamburger when people are used to Wagyu beef. If it's that upsetting...wait for it...quit. Nothing gets a MMO company moving a different direction then a sudden dearth in subscription dollars. Took the Shadowlands exodus to get Blizzard to pull their heads out of their asses a bit (still chest deep, but still, progress). Don't feel it's necessary to leave an "exit survey" post, either. If Squeenix actually wants to to change the game drastically, they'll ask people's opinion when they make that decision.
