I know SE working hard to make this game work... But, I pay to play FFXIV for entertainment in my free time as does everyone who is currently subscribed. Yes, of course I can play other games when FFXIV is not available, but I shouldn't be paying for a game I don't get to play due to unscheduled maintenances. SE should have worked out the issues with the patch before instating it into the game to avoid this. As far as I know, no other MMO does this to their players.

But, you can play it. Your complaint is that you can't play it when SE releases a major content update, which last for only 5 hours, (because we'll exclude the 5 hours of scheduled maintenance.

$15 / 30(days) = $.49 per 24 hours = $.02 per hour. I agree, SE should refund you the full $.10 they robbed you of.

I understand you issue you are crying and moaning about... But do you ever stop to consider the 5 hour Maintenance that hit last night... (9pm CST) was because of a issue that was not able to be seen till it was live on the game?

When the QA Team test the content, they don't test the content on heavily loaded servers like we are on, they are on another server that only they can get on... and sometimes these issues are not preventable... and when they saw the issues, they had no choice but to pull in a Emergency Maintenance to fix this issue that came up.... if they didn't, then they would have tons of other angry Subscribers that would be doing the same thing you doing of them cry amd moaning that there server keeps crashing...

As for them Setting these Maintenance constantly, they can not set a scheduled maintenance that best fits ALL players around the world. But what they did do is best set a Maintenance time that Fits when the game gets Peak times and when the game does not. So what I am seeing is that between 2pm PST time and before 6pm PST time is when the population on all servers are at is the lease low and that's is why they set Maintenance times there.

This is something that you are just going to really have to deal with man.. So Stop complaining and raging. It is not doing any good now that this Thread has hit 9+ pages and you are just making yourself look bad. Remember it is not just you that gets effected by these Emergency Maintenance and the World does not evolve around you.
