So what exactly is there to Do this patch?

Honestly these "nothing to do in this new patch wtf" complaints are becoming hard to take seriously when they are always posted Day 1.

The main complaints are that they is nothing to grind when that is objectively not true. People conveniently ignore things and pretend like they don't count.

A new EX fight is very grindy and takes a lot of time to get all of the totems/the mount/the weapons you want. "That's sweaty content for raiders, I'm talking about midcore content". I've got news for you: EX fights ARE MIDCORE. Kinda wild that people who play this game to death and run out of content in one day also aren't at the skill level to beat these fights. They aren't that hard I promise. Most people still don't even have the EX 1 and 2 mounts yet

Alliance Raids and Allied Society are also time gated grinds. I know we've seen them before but it doesn't make this not true.

We also have new grindable rewards like the treasure map weapons.

I know people want new fresh grinds but we are getting that later in the expac with cosmic exploration and the new field zone. I don't wholly disagree with these sentiments but these posts come off as really whiny and bad faith

firstly you have no proof planetary explo will even have fresh grinds, secondly i think saying look i know u want this content but ur gona get it later ok, so please just keep subbing and come back later is kinda hilarious.
and before u said "then just leave and come back later" if everybody literally did that. se would loose millions in monthly revenue for what might be the next 12 months. somehow, i don't think that would be good business

Still a grind, and you can just farm the whistle if you don’t want to wait. I’m personally fine waiting to turn in the totems. You will have the EX 1 and 2 totems to turn in before them and getting all of the EX mounts is always a long con over the whole expansion

I don’t need proof, it’s literally a new form of content. It would be crazy to think it won’t have some uniqueness to it even though I’m sure it will have similarities to firmament and IS

Also my argument is that regular content are still grinds and repeatable. The topic of the thread is that there’s “nothing to do this patch” (always posted .0001 seconds after it goes live, weird huh?), not that about formulaic content. That’s a whole different topic. For those who are fine with some of the usual content, the new AR and EX fight are well made. People expecting them to competely drop the content formula should probably just quit because that’s not happening. If the new content does well then we will get more of it. Just like Eureka leading to more field expeditions
