You know people would like you more if you didn't pull baseless claims out of your a$$ in just about every thread you make.

In gamming exploitation means to take advantage of a mechanism by using it other than it's intended purpose for your own selfish gains. The nyzul item duplication glitch was an example of how you would exploit a game mechanic that was not working as intended. I don't see how using mules to store extra items is considered an exploit. You are not doing anything other than using a game feature exactly as it was designed to be used.

If you can't back up your claims with anything other than "Come on you know I'm right" then don't make them. It's very clear you have no idea what in the hell you're talking about when you can't support your own ideas.

Community issues will happen no matter what, this will just make it worse.
I'll just give an example:
One day you decide to create an LS. This ls gets big, you develop an LS bank with lots of gil. You start to get greedy, so you make a new char. FREE OF CHARGE. Steal the ls bank, give it to your new char. There you go. You are now a very rich level 1.

It will just promote stuff like that.

Also, having 1000 inventory space is taking advantage of the mechanism. Pretty sure those other chars are not there for storage.

Stuff will happen like that Free or not.. people will by the Extra Character to do the same thing ( even if they charged 1 buck a Character).. 1 buck is nothing... and the same thing will just happen.. Community problem will be a community problem

Ya as I said community problems will still happen, but charging for more chars. will alleviate some of it. Those who don't want to spend the extra money will consider before doing stupid stuff.

As I also said I have 2 chars in FFXI and shared stuff between em, that's cool but when you can have 8 >.> that's a little much. If you are willing to pay for 8, fine that's cool you should get those extra things.

Meh, it doesn't bother my gameplay.. It only effects the person who's doing it "majority" of the time

Edit: RMT will happen regardless what you do in any MMO.. Preventing to the best of your abilities is all any company can do.. but there is no true way of stopping them.

Ok, say you want a friend to join the game when 2.0 comes out BUT the server is filled because of all the alts. It will effect everyone.

I also note, I'm not against having extra chars. As I had em in FFXI, I just see a lot of problems coming from it. So, maybe they can lower it to 2 chars a server up to 10.

That's why they made a limit of how many 1 can make per server, I'm sure with the current setup they have the server max will be higher than 5,000. Yoshi-P isn't stupid he knows what he's doing.

Ya it will be bumped up, though, that will get filled up fast if theres 5k people on a server and each of em can make 8 extra chars. That's 40000

This is a non-issue.

The amount of characters someone has on one server has no effect on the active population because you can only log in as one of them at a time...
