    Expert was between 3 dungeons in ARR. 2 later.

    The big difference is that those dungeons didn't overstay their welcome past 3 months when the next patch came in and they got moved to high level roulette. Here we're essentially getting a taste of every dungeon for 8 months at minimum with the way they're interlaced (we play the dungeon of the previous major patch for the duration of whole current patch). Don't pretend this is the same.

    I wish Expert Roulette just included all current expansion dungeons scaled up to max level with ilvl cap set for each. People don't really care about the loot being a lower item level, they're mainly there for the tomestones. It would just bring in some variety.

    Dungeons suck, give me more trials please. I imagine trials are cheaper to make too since dungeons are large with many assets.

    Please bring back more "Hard Mode" dungeons from before. A lot of those were my favorite variations of specific dungeons, like Brayflox Hard.

    I have missed having more dungeons for years. They've always been some of my favorite content in the game.

    Again, gear is not the issue. Materia isn't the issue. Tomes aren't the issue. Having the same dungeons for 8 months is!
    Maybe it didn't feel fresh for you at the time, and clearly you moved on from that since then. Alright. But that isn't the feeling I'm getting from the casual friends, players and the multiple casual FCs I've been in, and myself. I think it should be less monotonous and samey, as in the same exact dungeon for this amount of time. If you're not going to listen to that, then argue with your mother.

    I'm fine with 1 dungeon per patch, but it needs to be more than a simple corridor. They tried some things with variants. Some of it was good, a lot of it wasn't. They should take some lessons from the variants and try it with dungeons.

    Maybe give dungeons 3 paths. Easy/Medium/Hard. Easy would be the equivalent of Endwalker dungeons in difficulty, but would drop very little loot. A good option for everyone who has the dungeon on farm and just wants tomestones. Medium could be what we got in Dawntrail in terms of difficulty and drops the amount of loot we're seeing now. Hard would be tuned a little bit less than extreme. Mobs would Require CC and it's common to die from boss mechs a few times, but there's extra loot and special stuff like orchestrion rolls and minis have their drop rates increased. This would be the equivalent of 3 dungeons in 1, with most/all assets reused and the only major changes being mechanical in nature.

    IDK though. I'm just spitballing but Dungeons need a change from being the same thing over and over with a different veneer.

It allowed us to see more than what we were allowed to see when we visited the first time. I think it was really cool, and it probably ensured it didn't take a lot of resources to begin with. All perfectly fine.

    If patches are going to take more time than they used to, please don't let the dailies duties be the repeated nightmare they currently are, and give us back the variety in ex roulette. I used to log in just to do them daily because they were new and fresh, and wouldn't overstay their welcome due to the patch schedule, now I just want to never touch these dungeons ever again due to burnout. HM dungeons from Norvrandt would go so hard. Just think about it.

    I'll be frank: copy wows dungeon design.
    FF14 has better raids by far imo, but wow's dungeons are the best in the market. Please look at them for ideas

    i genuiely asked why bringing back 1 more dungeon if it bring nothing to the table. you gave me your point which i used counter point. when i said that outside of tomes it bring nothing to character progression you told me it does without saying in what it is relevant. you told me it's the most efficient wayt to get tomes, when i demonstrated it wasn't because hunt is (never said that hunt were fun but we were talking efficiency). then you bring the nostalgia but it's always has been 1 dungeon from previous patch +1/2 new dungeon with always that same structure that gets old after 2 weeks of doing them.
    if you can't understand that, you're dumb as bread (proven from what i quoted)

    before asking bring more dungeon you should ask to make them more fun to run first and make them feel different from each other (instead of being only hallway for w2w boss formula). that's why i love bardam's mette, it was fresh when it released but seems like we won't see those kinds of things done anymore.
