God forbid they upside their delicate formula and release new gear on par with tome/savage ahead of time. Imagine the chaos?!

That's the thing this company can't imagine anything, it's just apologize/take a break/ don't retire XIV blah blah blah at this point I'm just gonna start voting with my wallet waiting from July/August til end of Nov/Late December is such a bad idea that it's gonna drive people who are already leaving, to just not wanna come back.

They don't take risks, they don't innovate, now the xpac is stagnating faster everyday, if there's something people enjoy good for you I hope you're genuinely happy but I find this patch cycle and waiting just unacceptable.

Your opinion is certainly valid. However, I'm not sure how true this is. In EW, they tried Savage 4 man. The biggest complaint was the rewards. They know that, so when they came up with this 24 man Savage fight, they made sure the rewards were better. Am I say this is perfect for everyone? Not at all. Everyone is going to have an opinion. I'm one of the people who can blow through the content quickly, but I'm also not going to complain about a self induced problem. From what I hear, WoW has a quicker cadence, and they also get hit with the "Is this all there is" comments as well.

I still think cloud should have 735-740 gear... savage is old at this point, Raiders will buy the ...750(?) crafted gear once 7.2 is out anyways, so why not?

We just had an expansion centered around cultural understanding. Names are in native-like languages, characters are based on real-world continents like South America, and so forth.

And yet, Naoki Yoshida decides to release the new raid on Christmas Eve. Christmas is the most important day of the year for over a billion people. No other company making a global product would do this. That offends me even more than the low-effort drip feed, because it shows that the company is clearly not being run by competent people operating in good faith. Even if Based Nippon didn't care about Christmas (they do), that doesn't excuse disregarding the rest of the world during a global release.

The whole thing is a big nothing burger for me sadly.
Story seems already meh from the snippets. (I don’t care for small Ja, and the voice lines already paint the picture of “don’t be sad forever, look forward friends uwu”)

A-Raid seems to be like Nier, just fanservice for those who played 11. I honestly didn’t understand a single thing that was going on. Maybe it will be like Ivalice but I don’t trust the writers tbh.

Chaotic Raid really seems to be savage instead of extreme. It also only comes out in December. The rewards seem to be nice but… I still don’t see it lasting long in PF before becoming a pure discord thing.
I think savage difficulty is a mistake here.
