youre projecting. Not everyone actually 99% of people dont like this stuff. Its literally DEI that pushed for the voice actor of Lumat to fill a quota. Its very obvious that universally she isnt liked. Shes a terrible VA and the writing is some of the worst I've saw in gaming.
You can assume "the racist/bigots dont like it because its a trans!!" but that isnt the case. No one cares to be called that anymore, stay on the topic at hand and realize that we can not like something.

Can't blame everything on the poor quality of voice acting done, Wuk Lamat's VA had her moments, but then suddenly dipped horribly. It was very inconsistent.
But I've noticed the lack of quality in the other VA's too, it's like the direction wasn't there either for the English side in DAWNTRAIL.

There's always this thing I notice in a lot of dubs, that Japanese VA's actually ACT while sometimes English VA's just phone in their lines like they are reading from a paper, not being IN THE SCENE, showing us what the characters FEEL.
I feel like a lot of this expansion was that, a lot of the VA's just didn't act, sometimes Krile actually sounded lobotomized. Whether that's because of the schedule, bad recording location / timing or bad direction, I don't know. But I do know this, for the first time since ARR I'm switching to JP voice acting.
