Huh? My man/woman/individual... a single fantasia costs the same, and you're getting a bunch of extras that are account wide.

This is a fantastic deal. Am I gonna buy it? No, but this is so much value compared to how over-priced some of the stuff in Mog Station usually is.

I think it's a pretty good deal as I've seen the ear-rings previously and been jealous I couldn't get them. Throw in an account-wide fantasia too, and it's a decent sell for it's price (especially compared to other listings).

I don't think it'll help any players out & attract newcomers etc, but I'm sure it'll sell quite a bit anyway.

so why dont make a new item for it ? again noone is against new players getting this exp buff. Hell noone would care then. i know beeing lazy and reuse stuff they have for extra money is the way now but cmon at least try.

Because who cares outside of a handful of you here on the forums, many of which are likely just trolling for the luls. Nearly the entire cash shop is made up of event items that are no longer available in the game. Where is the rage about that? Shouldn't that stuff also be exclusive? Most of it is made to literally be exclusive to events that will never happen again. Yet I don't see anyone clutching their heads, falling to their knees and screaming into the heavens about their broom mount or egg helm. Why is this one earring, that was never stated or meant to be exclusive in the first place, such a point of contention?

It literally make zero sense and is such a weird thing to get up in arms about.

Genuinely fantastic to see Pre-Order items not be an exclusive thing anymore, this unironically is a consumer win right here compared to some of the other things for sale.
Now the bundle is not really appealing to me but it's a nice thing for new players, including some very popular emotes and a fantasia. Good, harmless stuff.

I am infinitely gladdened to see Pre-Order bonuses available in any capacity to a wider base. Truly one of the worse practices in my opinion.
A Pre-Order is a bonus in itself; There should be no incentive other than guaranteeing the product being available to you upon its launch.

I can also dislike everything on the store on principle if I want, the fomo event rewards are probably the thing that annoy me the most.

I hate all of that. And early access to expansions is a joke. You can buy it a few days "before" release and play it just normally. There is no difference between that and the actual release date.

I could not care less about the earring, I think locking the exp earrings behind pre-ordering and making them unavailable for the next two years is bad practice. I also hate that they lock iconic Final Fantasy charcters behind the pre-order, like the Zidane minion.

On the other hand I do care about the Cait Sith pet. That's my "legacy mark", the proof I am here since ARR release. Too bad Cait Sith is an iconic FF character as well, so I am conflicted.

So I do like exclusive items to some degree. But it is difficult. So better draw the line here as well.

Firstly I dont care about them giving away the item. Although your argument is flawed that people don't just for the preorder bonus I for one did, as I wanted the items but I wasnt even going to be able to play with being away from home. I'm sure there is a high amount out there that was too busy with work/homelife etc.

I have the feeling that this is just the beginning. What will be next? And the far better Question is, why should we preorder Expansions in the Future, if SE is throwing Pre Order Items for cheap into the Shop?

You pre-order so that you can use that +30% bonus leveling jobs to max level two to three months before the release of the new expansion. You pre-order so that you can start playing the new expansion on the weekend before the expansion goes "live". You pre-order because you're a completionist when it comes to collecting minions.

If you pre-order for none of these reasons, you might as well not pre-order your next expansion.

The only folks who could be complaining loudly are the goldsmiths out there who can no longer sell HQ earrings from levels 1 through 80. Since I am positive that this new item for sale will not get every single new player to buy it, I can safely say even the goldsmiths shouldn't complain too much.

LMAO sure dude cause overheads have not gone up in that last 10 years which is the same for majority of games out there. As for the earring a large amount of the playerbase don't even use it anymore, as they have all their classes at 100 and unless SE does a level roll back they never will.

Has WoW ever raised their sub prices?
