Feedback: Dawntrail MSQ dungeon difficulty

Yeah, there have been world boss fates since the game relaunched(i cant speak for 1.0). Odin regularly left a mountain of corpses in the Shroud back in ARR. Ditto Coeurlregina in the Forelands in HW, 9 Tails in Yanxia in StB, Formidable in Kholusia in ShB, and Daivadipa in Thavnair in EW. Each era of the game had a 2nd world boss in the final zone too in the form of Behemoth(technically in the central highlands instead of whatever you think the final zone was) for ARR, Proto Ultima for HW, Ixion for StB, Archaetania for ShB, and Chi for EW. The serpent lord you found is the Odin/etc for DT.

There is two types of world bosses

SS rank hunts who require specific spawn conditions and don’t appear on the map, these are denoted by the line in chat “you sense the presence of an incredibly powerful mark”

The other is fate chain Enders. They are technically fates but they are functionally the same, being world bosses that require specific spawn conditions and that have long CD’s. That snake, chi, Odin are all examples of fate world bosses

That snake is not in any way shape or form a normal fate

I think you're both correct. Ttokrrone is TECHNICALLY a FATE but it's a special one with specific spawn conditions, making it also a world boss. Either way, I wish we had more of these and some way to let people know they exist. Unless you happen to come across one in the wild (which is unlikely because nobody runs around the open world + they tend to get killed fairly quickly), you don't know it's a thing. It's the same with the really high rank hunt marks. Trains tend to kill those basically as soon as they spawn and the average player has to go out of their way to find out about them and participate, which is a shame.

Looping back to what the OP said, I generally use duty support for dungeons & trials. I, as well, have multiple disabilities, from way slowed down reaction time too arthritis effects & essential tremors in my hands. Year ago, I was a credible heroic raider in WoW. I had no real issues up until the 99 dungeon called Origenics. On most prior dungeons I usually got through the first two bosses without dying, third bosses sometimes took several tries to get down. In dozens of tries I just could nit get this guy down. PLUS, too many times when I did manage to get clear I still took damage, like three quarters of my helth in one blow (from AoE circles!). My atency runs around 80ms, not sure how that compares to others, but I do have a gig download internet connection. Got some FC buddies to take me through. Died a lot on that boss, not so much on the next two (they seemed far easier). If I didn't get help, I'd be stuck as not completing the MSQ which kinda kills the rest of the game as so much stuff is locked behind finishing it. I just hope the next ones don't continue this kind of damn high difficulty.

The game needs a story mode you can only access with Trust. What they do with roulette dungeons, I don't care. But for people only interested in the story, there needs to be a way to enjoy the game. If not... why even have the MSQ? Might as well do away with it.

I wonder what a "Story Mode" you suggested would even look like? Because when you do Trusts you can already be semi-AFK and let the NPC's clear the entire dungeon for you You might want to RPG walk out of some AOEs on bosses though.
Dungeons are already a 1 on difficulty on a scale from 1 to 10.
