Your static spoils you. Healing is always challenging if you PF, as the average cohealer is more likely to suck than not. And if any readers don't notice this problem... They likely are it.
On May 16th 2024, Creative Studio III made the decision to terminate the existence of non-standard Black Mage. The impact of this decision on the job's population will be negligible.

That sounds more like 'frustrating' than 'challenging' when the only factor that bars you from a pleasant run is 'how stupid my cohealer is/whoever presses the mits in the party'.
Most of things becomes moot when one plays it safe by choosing to pump out 1 or 2 safety GCD heals to account for these types of players instead of casting Glaroilficosis, which only needs a pair of watchful eyes, something that a healer is normally already accustomed to. So again, where's the challenge to that?
The co-healer is rarely the sole issue, it's mitigation from randoms in general. Since pretty much every mechanic is a mit check more than a healing check and randoms in PF aren't exactly known for using their mitigations in the first place.
Having a Reprisal + Feint + Addle + something like Shake or Holos on almost every AoE or having absolutely nothing reducing the damage is what makes the big difference.
