Another favourite moment of mine was during the cooking contest, where Wuk Lamat got paired with Zoraal Ja.

Finally, Wuk Lamat got the chance to know her brother better, finding out, why he is so obsessed with the war thing.

She also remembered what Krile told her before, that she could see into Zoraal Ja with her Echo and that she saw his violent and dark thoughts or something.
Wuk Lamat realized, that she never really tried to understand Zoraal Ja, because he was always so perfect and strong and was always intimidated by him.

She even apologized for not trying to understand her brother better all this years because she was busy eating Tacos in the palace or something, what a heartwarming moment!


Good thing that the writers didnt squander this moment and paired Wuk Lamat with Koana, whom she already had a good relation with!

Good thing, that we, the player, got to learn more about Zoraal Ja, and why he became what he is!

There was also that time after she found out her biological dad had been helping her all along, and she wasn't an unwanted kid, but he made a heartbreaking decision to give her away for her sake to keep her safe. When she acknowledges him as her father in a really touching scene, and then turns to everyone and says, "But I can't accept an advantage in this contest. I'll always be grateful for how you've watched over me, but this is about more than me or our family, this is about a whole continent. I need a new contest for this, under equal conditions. Who's with me?"
This was the first time I felt she showed a real sense of responsibility and stopped taking everyone's help for granted, and she finally saw what all this was ultimately about and showed the proper respect for the office she was aiming for.

Good thing that Bakool Ja Ja had a very meaningful and long lasting development like Fordola. And served his penance for a longer time helping around for committing countless crimes, and almost decimating the whole continent by unleashing an age old calamity in Valigarmanda. Instead of a 180 turn around and a skip button.
Good thing that Krile got her development and was an integral part of the story with plenty of character development and talks with the WoL instead of being relegated as backround
Isn't it great that age old wars can be solved with Xibrubibidi babidi bibil, I love food
I LOVED "Smile" I especially liked them including it in the scene where we're building a huge train-bomb
I love that we are treating reconstructions of memories as real people and trying to reason with a computer program thats impersonating a queen, its so refreshing! I absolutely love Erenville and his sour face, unlike those Viera in the gathering quests who are totally boring with their interesting backstories.
Wuk Lamat taking 80% of the voice lines and lines in the game? Absolutely genius, groundbreaking and brave. I felt like I was truly reliving my childhood watching Naruto, thank you Japan writer-san

I actually wanted to jump out my window when I saw what actually happened. I was like: "Oh, she's gonna get paired with Zoraal Ja or Bakool Ja-Ja for drama!" Then she got paired with Koana and I'm like: "Am I playing Hello Kitty Island Adventures? What kind of non-confrontational scenario is this? This scene now has no reason to exist because it's just gonna be another 'power of love and friendship triumphs over hate' event." She has a quest to understand her people yet the person she should have learned to understand the most was RIGHT. THERE.

Uh, I mean--*Huffs copium* I also loved how we brought Jullus onboard as another scion to give him character growth while letting the other scions go off on their own since their arcs were completed. Having him clash with Zoraal-Ja over his crusade against his homeland was phenomenal writing! I also loved how Krile got so much character growth that took place over the whole expansion. Zero being there as a scion, too, also offered unique interactions due to her being half voidsent.
