I guess you missed the part about them scrapping the May event to focus on more important things.
They know what their priorities are.

As far as I'm concerned, the development team somehow fell a year and a half behind schedule prior to launch, and has produced about 2 months of work in the last 6 months. 6 months out from launch and the game's still not remotely ready for September 2010. Time's ticking, folks. 5 NMs in the last 6 months is the only significant update to the game. The rest is either patching, patching the patches, patching the patch's patches, or just plain wastes of coding lines.
The last 3 new content updates have been:
Holiday event
worst quests in the history of quests
Holiday event
This isn't working, guys. It hasn't worked. It still isn't working.
Good. No more of this crap. I'm actually worried that there aren't bells. At this dev team's proven pace, that probably means it took them all of february to make this event.
It hasn't worked I agree.
I still have severe lag just opening my equipment screen.
I still have insane delay registering actions with UI.
I still only see 3 monsters per 34 yalms
I can't repeat localleves synth fluidly
I can't search retainers for items
My camera movement is still lagging behind my actual movement.
...Oh wait.
Honestly, content will come, but I can guarantee no one would give a shit if the game plays sluggishly, notice how in FFXI people didn't care for besieged till they adjusted it so that you can...actually do something.
6 months and they have done nothing? did you play the beta at all? if only we could play the beta version of the game right now, you would see how much has been done in the past 6 months. maybe its not what your expecting but saying they did nothing is just false. As far as I'm concerned, the development team somehow fell a year and a half behind schedule prior to launch, and has produced about 2 months of work in the last 6 months. 6 months out from launch and the game's still not remotely ready for September 2010. erm, well our definition of significant is different then
Aion Zwei - Masamune
His definition is:
No content = nothing done.
My persistant concern is that this dev team still doesn't have what it takes to keep up, so they keep focusing on the easiest and cheapest way to prove they have content and progress: holiday events and useless fetch quests. The game's dying, folks. What few of us left that are playing are just withering away. We're planning. We're thinking. We're preparing. We're...planning some more.
****ing do it.
6 months, barely any progress. I've had enough of the excuses. This is Final Fantasy. If they can't even keep up with Rift, buy their staff and fire ours. I guarantee they'd rather be doing SE employees' job than waiting for WoW to kill their product.
I've had it with the useless content updates that makes our game look like trash.
yeah? seasonal event took very little effort to develop?EVANGELA
Quit being a little c*** and listen.
The seasonal event took very little effort to develop. It in no way took any time away from fixing the game.
Additionally, we don't have the patch notes for 1.17 yet, so you have no idea what's going to be in the patch.
Understand? Or you gonna keep trolling?
can you make something like Kabuto helmet or Xmas gears in few hours?
and for the patch note... show me the list of what's coming up with the next patch then I'll stop
I could actually recreate said model in barely 4 hours in Maya or Lightwave, and that's without a texture lol. Btw, it was added before the event even was.
