Aren't holiday quests a waste of development time and effort right now?

As far as I'm concerned, the development team somehow fell a year and a half behind schedule prior to launch, and has produced about 2 months of work in the last 6 months. 6 months out from launch and the game's still not remotely ready for September 2010. Time's ticking, folks. 5 NMs in the last 6 months is the only significant update to the game. The rest is either patching, patching the patches, patching the patch's patches, or just plain wastes of coding lines.

The last 3 new content updates have been:
Holiday event
worst quests in the history of quests
Holiday event

This isn't working, guys. It hasn't worked. It still isn't working.

6 months and they have done nothing? did you play the beta at all? if only we could play the beta version of the game right now, you would see how much has been done in the past 6 months. maybe its not what your expecting but saying they did nothing is just false.
