She's wearing a shirt hating transphobes and you guys think that's a terrible thing this is exactly why I loath this community.

I'm a simple person - I don't like transphobes, therefore I avoid them and try not to engage.

A better person than me, like a Wuk Lamat (who the VA occasionally pretends to be on twitter), might try to understand the transphobes, educate them and reach a common ground of understanding, peace and love.

This VA openly displays the slogan "Sacrifice transphobes to Satan", with an inverted cross for the T.

Please insert any other group of people in the above slogan and try to justify how this is an acceptable, normal behaviour.

In Europe, where I'm from, we do not have a death penalty, and certainly left-leaning politics, which advocate for LGBTQ rights, do not advocate for death penalties for people they simply disagree with. They don't advocate for the discrimination of women. They don't blanket label white people racist or attack their own communities.

Can we please stop pretending this VA, whatever her identity might be, is a shining beacon of goodness and normalcy, which is simply not the case?

Any other group? "Sacrifice Nazis to Satan" I think that's kinda easy to justify. There was an entire war over this and we celebrate the end and its victors. Even some bigger battles are held in heroic memory.

I'm sorry, I worded my post incorrectly. Should have been:

"Please insert any other group of people (who have not killed dozens of millions of people and commited numerous other unspeakable crimes besides) in the above slogan and try to justify how this is an acceptable, normal behaviour."

(And as much as I dislike transphobes, that's like comparing an annoying mosquito to the Death Star, so kind of not on the same scale.)

Because if you had a shirt ingame that said those instructions to say....people of a ethnic group - you think people would not react harshly if they saw you wearing it? The reality if folks can play it off as not being a big deal because they know folks would not do it and if they did then the full force of the internet would come down on them. To assume otherwise I feel would to be out of touch or very naive.
