What to do about the scions / potential msq spoilers

That's all well and good but they need to keep that in mind when it comes to screentime. Look at Thancred and Urianger. They are on the character poster for Dawntrail https://i.redd.it/ekh3unbvuxac1.jpeg and they also have special slides in the Dawntrail websitehttps://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/dawntrail/story/ and yet, they have so little to do with the actual story. Heck, look at the image of the lines spoken per character https://imgur.com/EKq4GuO.

Urainger, a man who know to be verbose, almost excessively at times, doesn't even have 500 spoken lines. Here's the thing, I actually kinda don't care about that. Thancred and Urianger had their arcs fulfilled for the most part. But if these guys are on the cover, I would of expected them to of had a bigger role.

I was looking forward to the friendly rivalry angle they were selling us going into DT. I loved the idea of competing with some of the Scions to breath some new life into their dynamic with WoL, and seeing them prominent in the cover art played into my hopes for what was coming.

And then all we got was Thancred being cheeky in a single moment in the first dungeon, and...that's it! That was the only rivalry moment in the whole game! We're back to all being on the same side and being besties right after pretty much, and then Thancred and Urianger leave and aren't seen again for most of the story. Did they play a bigger part in the early drafts that got cut? What happened here?

Either bring the Scions along and have them actually do things and matter to the story and characters around them, or don't bother bringing them along at all/give them little cameos and leave it at that.
