It's not really very personal. Most people I met in FF14 feel like this and lots of them already left. Almost none of them take the time to speak out here in the forums. They just leave.

Of course DT release playernumbers where high again. Lots of people have lots of hope. And lots of people are not hanging around here since the beginning or early expansions. So the always same stuff feels not so 'always the same' for them. But most people reach that point one day.

So SE really should take care and do something refreshing. It's just my personal opinion but I feel like that FF14 reached some kind of breakpoint. Will they be able to deliver stuff that the game keeps going for another 10 years, as they wish to, or will they not be able to.

At the moment it feels like that they just try to milk the most money from the franchise. Their plans for a mobile FFXIV game with Tencent also really worries me. Most mobile games are just costtraps for the players. We will see.

But..., sorry. All this stuff is not the theme of this thread. :x

I think too many people are not able to see the whole thing. It's fine when some of you totally enjoy everything. But that does not mean that everything is fine as a whole for the major playerbase.

At first I also said that I think that DT has good stuff!
But that for me..., it's overshadowed by a lot of repeating or untouched problems. The longer someone is around, the more it gets frustrating when problems stay the same and formula is copy paste again and again.

And well..., the common bad answer was not missing! Go play other games! Don't care for the game you like or speak about it's problems. Just shut up and go! xD

I really really hope that SE is doing better soon. But as long as so many people defend their bad decisions, I am afraid they see no reason to act.
