It's not false but it also makes no sense. Why should someone from the beginning expect that they will just copy paste the same formula for every expansion and let problems untouched? To expect this from the beginning would be a very negative mindset. D :

It's very common just to assume that a gaming company wants to deliver a good and interesting gaming experience. If they don't they have a financial problem! xD
FFXIV has just the advantage that there is not much true competition.

i disagree to this. WoW launches in a couple of hours which is in a good state right now and guild wars 2 have an expansion aswell with instanced Housing which lets your twinks in your house and letting pet your mounts. Competition is there and they are not sleeping. They will add stuff which makes the other mmos good until 14 if it doesnt change will be less then a standard

I REALLY want to like Guild Wars 2. The gameplay itself is actually pretty fun in PVE and PVP, but itemization and masteries are just a slog and most of the story is Dawntrail tier.
