Cut the 10-yen indie company some slack. They barely have two devs to handle all this load.

If they're still putting out brand new helmets and hats that viera and hrothgar can't wear, I doubt they will do anything to fix this anytime soon.
The only saving grace against that, imo, is that they've buckled down on why they don't want to make hats compatible, it's stupid and basically just outright wrong, but in so continuing in such a manner they are just standing by their dumb excuses on the matter.
This issue with Hrothgal armor however just looks downright awful, like "must be a bug" awful, actually broken coding awful, so hopefully they don't just stand by it as "intentional" cause of how incompetent that would make them look, and if they don't then there's a chance they might actually fix it. But ofc there is always the chance they do just say "intentional" and take the hit of lost confidence again in order to save money and manpower..... Would rather believe the former, personally.
To be fair, Dawntrail also has a lot of surprisingly good hrothgar and viera-compatible hats. I still believe it can be expanded on in time, even if the present situation is disappointing.
Probably for the same reason that DRK is now years behind the other three tanks; General ignorance of the problems at hand... if I had to guess. No idea if they're going to fix it, or even acknowledge it.
What really sucks is that this whole fiasco cost me *two* Fantasias (one going from miqo'te to hrothgar, and then back again) because some of the armor hit the hardest by this was the various PVP sets, of which makes a bulk of my glams, which made being a female hrothgar literally intolerable.
All of that goddamn waiting just for them to end up with *more* issues than even male hrothgar and viera did. How the hell do you *regress* with all of those years to work on it?
And yeah I wasted three Fantasia, went from Miqo to Hrothgal, then to Au Ra, then finally back to Miqo, but the third one was of my own fault for wanting to try something new instead of just "giving up" due to them fucking up the armor lol
"Literally intolerable" is a good way of describing this issue though, perfect in fact.
I'm happy I tend to wear armor that is sleeveless or hasn't been impacted.
"The worst foe lies within the self."
People made bug reports about the scaling during early access and they got dismissed as not having sufficient information. The only saving grace against that, imo, is that they've buckled down on why they don't want to make hats compatible, it's stupid and basically just outright wrong, but in so continuing in such a manner they are just standing by their dumb excuses on the matter.

Tell that to the male Hrothgar who never had their own posture fixed even though only a minority of Orc lovers think it looks fine.I think what sucks the most is that bunn bois got their atrocious posture fixed immediately because it was evident thanks to the benchmark gear set previews, but with Hrothgals most of those same gear sets actually look good on them (on account that most either already had big shoulderpads, or were sleeveless), so it went over everyone's head and now may be "too late" to fix it.
Well they most certainly do now, whether they have the decency to actually admit that or they decide to once more buckle down on ignorance for the sake of money is what I'm unsure of.
They've admit mistakes and fixed them before, it's more rare then them choosing to wallow in ignorance, but it does happen, hopefully this is one of those cases.
