I noticed that even without NG+. When my own Damage as a Viper was insignificant (1-2% of enemy HP), and attacks from Wuk Lamat and Alisae just deleted a quarter of enemy health bars I stopped doing things, watched a bit, and found that my contribution to this duty was simulated. Fake. This pretty much drained all the fun out of the game part for me, because I like it when my contribution matters. I don't play games to get carried through them.

There's so much structurally, narratively, tonally and executionally wrong with DT that it is divisive in all corners of the world in all languages. There's so much actual, tangible discussion to be had about CBU3's stale, predictable and unsustainable development pipeline, Square Enix's lack of talent nurturing for future project leads, and Hiroi being a hack, before we even think about broaching the more nebulous subject of DEI.

But hey, if people would rather blame a bogeyman than actually holding Hiroi and Yoshi-P's feet to the fire over this then be my guest. Making her EN VA non-trans won't magically make the character less of an irritating, suffocating, vapid, resentment-inducing Poochie written by a failed theatre owner trying to shove his teenage furry power fantasies into a beloved MMO.

i didn't even dodge..... and this is on default difficulty btw...

so, why are we still here?

nice projecting dude. i don't need any reason, i already has my alt to help friends raiding since SHB. and FYI i skipped all DT cutscenes because idw to be mad at it all over again, but solo duty i cannot skip can i?

also the reason i don't do anything is because i notice after a few second that THEY do more dps than me
like, my Namikiri hit 47k every 2 mins but Wutlmao do something 50-60k every few rotation, and Alis do RDM slash 20k each for 6 times consecutively somehow

I noticed it the first and only time I did it too. I just didn't dare not do anything because surely they wouldn't make the NPCs do enough damage to avoid an eventual wipe if you weren't at least helping a little. Silly me.
