The thread topic was actually "don't send death threats to VAs" - which could have been covered in less than a page of comments, but here we are.

Making this kind of thread make no sense if you're genuine (if you're a troll it's obviously pretty decent), do you really think that a weirdo prone to send death threat gonna read it and say "I've seen the error of my way, I've seen the light and from now on I'll stop being a twit and only make family friendly tweet <3" how absurdly naive and delusional does someone has to be to believe that ?

You know what most people that are disgruntled with her performance will see ? An attempt at smoke and mirrors. It doesn't matter if it is or not, that's how it will be perceived.

That's the thing. People like her simply like to grab at the weakest straw they can find and build a whole mountain out of it and, when it's pointed out, they simply pretend nothing has been said and continue using their proverbial hammer on every "nail".

I only wish that blacklisting here would also do it in-game because I don't ever want to have to encounter any of them.* I applaud you for trying to have any type of discussion with them though, even though it'll probably continue to go nowhere. I think the worst of it is seeing them victimize themselves for being called transphobes/transphobic. After all of the physical and mental struggles that trans people have to deal with in their lives, these guys still find a way to make it about themselves, and that's just crazy to me. Instead of trying to understand why they're getting called out for being hateful, they get angry and say things like "respect is earned", "you don't have to agree with my opinion", or they say that the world is full of sensitive people etc. I just don't understand how people this miserable navigate through life or even have friends, especially on this game.

Anyway, I hope you're not letting any of it get to you. Dealing with hate speech like this is just exhausting.

They don't realize that they are telling on themselves when they get offended. When they rush to defend a word mentioned in passing.
The "respect is earned" comes from a place of insecurity. Respect is freely given until you have given me a reason not to.
Miserable people like this, have probably followed a strict straight Christian's guide to happiness and when they got to the end of the road and found that they weren't happy, they couldnt imagine someone different from them not following the same rules and managing to find happiness and it burns them up inside like a filament that won't go out.

You know, it's funny. For the longest time I thought nothing could actually offend me no matter what I hear.

And then in comes english speakers who are terminally online with the whole "latinx" thing.

The sheer, visceral annoyance that word and its adjacents causes me it's hard to describe in detail.
