I wouldn't be surprised if during the post-patch MSQ Alisaie DOES solve this problem...by assisting Wuk Lamat with solving the problem. Until Wuk Lamat brings up the problem and comes up with an answer to that problem, nobody else can or will do anything about it.Also that brief bit in solution nine with the people that are afflicted with a sickness due to lightning; didn't we have the end of SHB and a first portion of EW dedicated to Alisaie discovering a way to undo the effects of those that have had a little too much elemental juice? It just seemed really out of place or out of character not to have any of the twins go "Hey, that sounds like tempering. We can fix that!" And was conveniently glossed over for plot
Dawntrail did you dirty girl, it did you dirty.
I am frankly sick and tired of half the MSQ being bloated with "let's make centuries-old problems disappear with a flick of the wrist" """""""plot"""""""
It also just goes to show that this game's story is catered to people with extremely fragile mental conditions. They cannot handle that children can be paralyzed like in the real world.
The story writers are taking the word "fantasy" far too literally. The renowned works of the fantasy genre have always portrayed a world full of grey, unfulfilled dreams, and inequality.
To CBU3 fantasy apparently means children's storybook utopia.

The shutting down of Living Memory should have been the 7.x patches so that there was room for krile and erenville to process and let go off their loved ones. It was such an unnecessary shift of focus from trying to stop sphene to talking with the endless and just making the decision to shut them off within a matter of 1-2 lvls of quests. Truly so much potential was wasted just rushing this story beat out before the final boss.
I can almost imagine them also exploring more in depth on the ideology of whether the endless can be considered alive or not. Just thinking about it makes me sad that it probably not gonna happen now.
