Alliance raid depends on a few things, but the biggest one is probably that people don't go out of their way to unlock the extra alliance raids. Since they aren't an MSQ requirement in the same way as CT, some just genuinely aren't aware that they exist. I personally think that's a leading factor in why CT pops so much since they supposedly fixed the cheese strat of dropping ilvl to force CT to spawn.

It's absolutely this. There's 24 people in an Alliance Raid and not only do they need to have done something other than CT just for it to maybe not be CT, but they need to have done the same one. Tataru's Grand Endeavor I think tried to fix this by making Shadow of Mhach a requirement and you know what? I see it more than NieR and certainly more than Ivalice nowadays. Not CT levels, mind, but not awful.

I could have sworn something needed the Ivalice raids too. I can't remember what - just looked it up - it was Shadowbringers Relic stuff. Unfortunately as that gets more dated and less relevant I suppose less people will have done it.

Yeah it was the SHB relic, and Ivalice popped up more during that time for Alliance raid too. But I think more casual players did Tataru's Endeavor than they did Bozja.
