Thanks for the clear up Bayhone, now to wait for the big fireball of death.
Was it song of time backwards to speed time up? I can't wait any longer I want 2.0 out now lol.
You just need to play Sun's song a few hundred times with your ocarina then it will be here in no time >_>.
Why?
It's for people who loves Alt.
Someone who don't want an Alt and have no legacy account there is the Entry membership with only 1 char each world.
Now explain how he would enjoy the game with only 1 class for his 1 char?
Here is a post from Yoshida where he talks a bit about moving to a new standard for subscriptions:
Thanks for the follow-up! As I wrote in the Producer Letter, my intention was exactly what you stated. The game system is not the reason we decided to change the standards. MMORPGs are a great chance for you to role-play and the larger variety of characters you have available, the more you can enjoy the role-play aspect, in my opinion. ^^
Characters on the same account cannot be logged in simultaneously. Thus the direct impact for us is only the database storage size. As it doesn’t impact the stress on the servers, we just estimated the database cost and decided to allow up to 40 characters.
(As announced, under the Standard or Legacy plan, you can create up to 8 characters per World across multiple Worlds and up to 40 characters total. Please note that there may be cases when you cannot create a new character on the World that reached capacity, due to server stress of concurrent logins.)
As for the Retainers, please bear with me until we can announce further details including the content related to that. One thing I can say is that the current Retainer system may change as the concept of the Market system will change drastically.

Ahh that was it, brb gonna get an Ocarina.
I would mpk you back to FFXI's release lol.
So all the extra characters are going to be free? Hmm... no anima problems after that.
It's going to be an alternate character teleport orgy.
