Just leaving this thread here while we're talking ranged, it has some very good ideas for adjustments that wouldn't even be super hard and require a huge rework.

Personally I love bard and its movement, that's a part of why I play it. I started with Picto this expansion and although I love it and am okay with the various cast times for their skills in the context of them being a caster, I would absolutely loathe that for Bard. The slowwalk arrow from PvP would be an interesting addition but not for the main skill you spam all over, this would just mean bard would be the slowwalk job, when it's the skill you use the most. Would be fine by me for the skills boosted by Barrage or so though, but please don't make me a caster. If I want that, I play a caster. :P
It would be cool if phys ranged would become more of a support class, or rather the other jobs would be less of a support class, especially tanks. Let healers be the main people dealing with damage and debuffs as intended, and rphys the DPS with support for the healers, direct and indirect. (Like with Nature's Minne for Bard, or Warden's Paean, but only should the game utilize Esuna more one day. And ofc the three shields, Shield Samba/Troubador/Tactician.) We also don't have a Feint/Addle as role action, as the only DPS role and I have no clue why. (Instead we get Leg Graze and Foot Graze... are they ever actually being used outside of low level solo duties?)
