Summoning porxies without the time, labor, and aether saving Mother Porxie that we did the Matoya Relict dungeon to create is neither quick nor safe when in uncertainly to soon-to-be-confirm hostile territory, especially when the tempering cure is memories and only a certain threshold of aether imbalance caused by an isolated blast of aspected aether. A genetic condition is different.

And the oversaturated electric aether of Alexandria itself is all-but-stated outright to be the cause, to which, yes, taking the afflicted outside of Vanguard is the best solution and the one not available at that point in the MSQ. Post MSQ it is, and thus I will be highly surprised if it isn't brought up in 7.1.
