I'm just saying that it would overall feel better to play the job if those two in the ogcd since then they wouldn't disrupt your base rotation as they do now.

Xeno is one of our only movement tools and places to weave. It wouldn't help anything. it would make it so much worse.
What they should do is give the hard cast back to Paradox. That way, even at the lowest spell speeds you have the time for four GCDs before Paradox and four GCDs after.
At base spell speed, you've got time for three after if you want to still get the Despair cast off, and you can get five before Paradox, but only if two of them are of base spell speed. (aka, not Fire IV)
So your options for your rotation are 4 FireIV -> Paradox -> 2 FireIV -> Despair or 3 FireIV -> Paradox -> 3 FireIV -> Despair. and if you chose the latter, I hope you don't need to move at all in the latter half because that means you have to use your fire 3 instant to not drop enochian. And that means a damage loss.
I feel like I should reiterate that we did just fine in Endwalker as it was. Any "problems" that these changes serve to fix are just unnecessary. I say this as someone who's cleared the first three turns of the new savage tier. I'd still rather have old Black Mage back.

Black mages ruined the job for themselves

I wasn't aware that I was on the design team, or that I had any part to play in the changes made. I was very vocal about how much I like the class exactly as it was in Endwalker. Could you elaborate on this?
Is it because of Non-standard? because I never used it, and they didn't need to change nearly as much as they did to break non-standard.
