I have so many characters because I do love this world, and I love creating characters with their own specific aesthetics, personalities, goals, and writing stories around all of that. Even though I'm not good at editing and definitely annoying about it at this point, I feel like I need to try as much as I can...
There is no shame in being passionate. I can't speak for everyone here, but I assume that no small amount of us here are roleplayers and artists of some caliber, myself included. This rich world is there for us to breathe more life into it, and how can we do so if we cannot connect to it because our characters are not the ones we've come to know and love for so long? Many have brought up that one Koji Fox post, so I shall only mention it. But for a game that seemed to treasure us, our characters, and our shared experiences, they have undoubtedly failed us. And I think we are right to be upset. There's no shame in that either.

I don't know who these changes were made for, but they are not for the people who have come to love the style of the game all the way from 1.0 up until 6.58.
