I just noticed that the lvl 98 gear is called Ra'kaznar gear. Ra'kaznar is the final dungeon in FFXI: Seekers of Adoulin and its architecture is indeed similar to Solution 9. Probably doesn't mean anything but it probably points to Vanadiel being in the same reflection as Alexandria.

That's... not an exaggeration. That's what I get for getting cold feet and setting my own playthrough down at the start of Wings of the Goddess. More so than Solution 9, the bottom of Skydeep is a dead ringer.

On that note, it's probably not an accident that the presently-unused second apartment building we have access to is numbered 9-11 to go with 9-14 (where we stopped briefly during MSQ). That's a lot of quest space.
