Please don't put Wuk Lamat in the patches

The problem isn't that Wuk Lamat might be in the 7.X patches, the problem is the writing team in charge of 7.0 will be writing the 7.X patches. Even if Wuk Lamat has a fall in the shower and snaps her neck there will be still be the same bad character writing, nonsensical plot(holes) and sleep-inducing pacing. Until they sort out their writing and editing team in a MAJOR way, FF14 is on a permanent pathway for this sort of writing. Can it be done? Sure. Overnight? No chance.

I like Wuk Lamat. I began the expansion intrigued by a character I perceived as refreshing, even if a little tropey. VA wasn't flawless but in XIV it never really is.

Then I had to speak with her 138 times. Probably more if you count the times not specifically due to a quest.

I'm sure work has already started on the patches. I'm not sure what can be done. Please do not make it 75% "Please talk to Wuk Lamat" again. Please do not write her to be so naive and omnipresent.

Again, I like Wuk Lamat. But even I have had enough.

And if you're wondering, what is the point of this? I know there are critical threads already. But those are mostly "she's bad". I'm more concerned about the future content and also wanted to offer a perspective from someone who enjoyed her character.

Wuk as a whole, in my opinion, feels like someone's fanfic OC made to look as strong if not stronger than the WoL/Scions.

You can always hope she's being slowly being Lyse'd for the 7.X patches.

Plus if we're lucky the voice actor's strike might go long.

In Endwalker, they said the expansion story would end for real and start a new story in the patches. Which, technically it did, because we started to focus on the void.

I think there is certainly an opportunity to do the same with Dawntrail. To create a new story just for the patches. However, I think it will likely take place in the New World still. My guess is it will focus on the other shard.

If they go the "cleaning up" route like they did prior to Endwalker, we will go to Solution Nine and help them restore morale, install a government there and all the stuff we did with Eulmore, Doma, Ala Mhigo and Ishgard in patches, where we saw governments installed.

Really dont get the Hate Lyse had back then, i didnt had any problem with her back then, as well as now. She wasnt omnipresent like Wuk is in DT, which is really the first "friendly" Npc i really despise. Only other Npc in the game i cant stand would be the guy (Varis?) from the Shadowbringer weapons questline.

Now imagine the message people would take from that. An influential person with ties from powerful nations overseas propping up governments in what would essentially be the americas equivalent IRL. Inb4 it's a fantasy place, idk man with all the accents, architecture, and culture inspirations
