Hopefully they realize how much of a mistake it was hiring anyone from the SAG. Bunch of spoiled little egoists. All of them so much more well off than most of us and they don't even have to do much work. Which was bad enough, and fine.... I suppose. Till you see how much kicking and screaming they do anytime an AI flawlessly replicates their voice. They don't even allow fans to do it for free projects that nobody is making money off of. No, you don't own your own voice. People can mimic you, there's only so many sounds the human vocal cords can make before you run into clones of the same voice too. All rights to your voice are gone the second you sign up to be cast in a role using that voice, that voice now belongs to the character not you.

Sena calling for a "cis woman" to step down because she voices Bridget is rather funny because Sena literally wants to take male voiced roles from males, or maybe now this doesn't matter because "i said so, women have been playing boy roles like ash ketchum and bart simpson for ages" well why arn't they asked to step down but because bridget having something swinging between the legs is fair game to go after a VA.... you can't have this both ways just because "this character is something ME ME ME could voice".

The VA did an ok job, until the "speen, listsentoumi" line broke me. I had to tell myself 'No no this expansion is actually really cool' repeatedly since lvl 95 MSQ when I realised the first half of the full price expansion is glorified Beast tribe introduction quests that were only there because of the keystones for the lock.
Her voice has no range whatsoever. It is very completely monotone throughout the entirety of the expansion and I think it's due to her having to put on a fake accent, and at the same time make sure she doesn't let her original voice/speech behaviours slip out.
The team's decision on choosing that take of her delivery is incomprehensible to me, unless that take genuinely was her best performance.

so bad lmao. the japanese one was alot more bearable. still badly written but at least the voice actor can act.

I am very ok with it but only because it sounds organic/real. I think that a real life person, or at least I would sound just like that, which obviously isn't the standard expected from voice acting.
But yeah, I thought that line was good. Lamat sounded happy and even cute. I was happy for her too, talking about her dad and celebrating. It was a nice moment.
